*Once connected, the AirMedia will display whatever is currently on your desktop.
*Use the Crestron tool to control the presentation:
*Clicking the Play button selects your device as the presentation source, sending whatever is on your dscreen to the room display.
*While presenting, it is often necessary to navigate away from your presentation. AirMedia lets you pause the presentation, freezing the current image on screen so others can continue to view it whle you look through your personal files. Once you’ve located new content and brought it up on your device, simply click Play to resume the presentation.
*When done presenting, just click the Stop button to stop displaying your device.
*Click the display icon to access additional options via the popup menu. Menu options include the following:
*Remote View - Enable Remote View to allow the device to serve images of the desktop via the built-in Web server.
*Projection Source (Windows Only) - Allows the user to share a secondary desktop. This is imilar to the Extend mode in Windows for multiple displays.
*Projection Quality - Uses more bandwidth to improve the quality of the transmitted image.
*Projection Latency Control - Uses more CPU power to reduce the latency of the projected image.
*Quad View - Selects the position of the screen when multiple PCs are showing to the AirMedia. Up to four computers can simultaneously share their desktops. Share desktops are arranged in a quad view with each computer using one quater of the projected image.Crestron Airmedia Download Mac Os

*Althrough AirMedia can support up to 32 connected computers for sharing, only four desktops can be displayed at a time in Quad View.
*While AirMedia can play video, it is recommended for high-definition video requirements to use a direct connection rather than the wireless solution.
*For Mac users, in order to play sound through AirMedia, you will need to download and install Soundflower. *(see alternative method)
**An alternative method rather than using a web browser to download the AirMedia utility client is to download installer, this will benefit mainly Mac users by allowing the audio to function without any further installation and or setting changes.

Let’s say you’re in a meeting in MH-107 with your laptop. MH-107 has two side-by-side large TV monitor screens. You have a slide presentation that you want displayed on the screens. Simply activate AirMedia on laptop and you can cast to those screens.Configuring & Running AirMedia in a Supported CS Conference/Meeting Room or the MH-122 Ugrad Lab
Please follow these steps to connect your laptop to the display screens in AirMedia-supported rooms:
*Turn on the TVs/projector using the Crestron touch panel. (MH-228 has a wall panel with Projector On and Off buttons instead.)
*On the Crestron’s touch panel, choose AirMedia source. (Since MH-228 doesn’t use a Crestron, screen should default to Air Media.)
*The TV/projector will display some information on the bottom left corner.
*On your laptop, in a web browser, enter the URL that is provided to you by the TV/projector.
*Your browser will display a Download AirMedia Utility window.
*Choose Client for Mac or Client for Windows, as appropriate.
*Save and run the downloaded program.
*A Crestron AirMedia interface will appear on your screen. (If you don’t see it, it might be hidden behind existing windows.)
*A second window, Enter the code for <IP address displayed on the TV/Projector> will appear.
*In the ’Enter the code’ window, enter the 4-digit code found at the bottom left of the TV/Projector (same Code mentioned earlier) and click OK.
*AirMedia will display your laptop’s display on the TV/projector.
*This includes sound, so make sure your laptop’s audio is not too loud when connecting to AirMedia.
*You can use the Crestron AirMedia interface on your laptop to control your connection.Shutting Down Your AirMedia Connection
Once your presentation is completed..
*Stop the connection using the Crestron AirMedia interface on your laptop.
*At the Crestron tablet display at the front of the room, click Exit to begin shutting down the TV/Projector system. (In MH-228 press the Off button on the Projector wall plate.)IMPORTANT NOTES!Airmedia 2 Download
*Only one device can be shared to the TVs/projector at a time.
